WWE Divas Pictures

You can find WWE Divas pictures almost anywhere since the division has become a draw at all live events. When the first Diva Sunny appeared on the scene back in 1996, most of the females at the time were generally valets to the WWF superstars, and were not considered major merchandise material at the time. The term Diva would not be associated with the female roster until roughly 2004/2005.

divasIn 1998, however, when Debra appeared on the scene, and was featured shortly afterwards in the Raw magazine, pictures of all the female roster began to pop up, and became a selling point toward the male demographics.

Sable’s sudden appearance on the scene changed the way that the WWF would use women, as she could also wrestle, changed the way that females would be used in the sport from there-in. When the women’s division was building momentum, so were pictures of them. Sports magazines would feature pictures of them in bikinis, and offers from Playboy would slowly start to appear to different women of the roster.

On March 30th 2000, Smackdown presented the very first Diva’s main event in WWF’s history, and Raw followed it up and did the same thing on August 21st 2000. As the roster grew for female athletes the more merchandise became available. They would begin to promote different WWE Divas pictures, and photo shoots, and as fast as the pictures were placed on the merchandise table, they would be sold out.

The Divas division picked up more steam as marketable material after WWF changed their name to WWE and the roster grew even more. The WWE would send several divas to a photo shoot for an annual magazine they would produce for their market, and more WWE Divas pictures would appear on Playboy magazine as the years would go by.
