WWE Jeff Hardy

August 31, 1977, Jeffrey Nero Hardy was born in Cameron, North Carolina. His first WWF match was on May 24, 1994 losing to Razor Ramon. Prior to joining the WWE Jeff Hardy was in an organization called OMEGA where Jeff portrayed such characters as Mean Jimmy Jack Tomkins, Iceman, Willow the Wisp, and The Masked Mountain. In early 1998 Jeff and his brother Matt signed the official contract with the WWF.

After months of losing matches the WWF decided to pair both brothers up as ‘The Hardy Boys’, and on July 5th 1999, they won their first tag team titles from the Acolytes, and a month later they dropped the titles back to them.
In 2001, Jeff was pushed as a single’s competitor, and won his first ‘Hard-core’ title, ‘WWF Intercontinental ‘title, and ‘Light Heavyweight’ on different occasions. In July 2002, Jeff captured the ‘Hard-core’ title for the 3rd time.

In April 22, 2003, WWE Jeff Hardy parted ways, due to a refusal for Jeff to go into a rehab program, his performance levels on tv dropping, and either being late, or not showing up for live events. August 4, 2006 would mark his return to the WWE after the firing from 2003, and August 21st would be his official first match against the WWE Champion Edge.

He would go on to win several different title, and lead into a reunion for close to a year with his brother Matt. On March 3rd 2007, he would drop his Intercontinental title to Chris Jericho, as he would serve a 60 day suspension for failing the companies new ‘Substance Abuse & Wellness Policy’.

On December Jeff Hardy would go on to win his first ever World Heavyweight Championship title defeating both Edge and Triple H in a triple threat match. He would go on to feud with his brother Matt where the storyline was Matt was the one behind all of Jeff’s accidents that were meant to end his career.

On August 28th 2009, Hardy competed in a steel cage match against CM Punk where the storyline was if he lost, he would leave the WWE. Jeff Hardy lost that night, and left, as he was suffering from two herniated discs in his lower back and was also suffering from Restless Leg Syndrome.
